Driving on the road sudden hard engine knock. Drained the oil and found a lot of metal in it. Dropped the engine oil pan and chunks of metal found on the bottom of the oil pan as in the oil pan strainer. #1 cylinder piston bearing disintegrated. Replace the piston bearing, new oil and oil filter, fired up the engine, purrs like nothing else ??
